Introduction

As Vietnam intensified trachoma control activities, monitoring and technical support played an important role in ensuring screening, medication distribution, treatment and communication activities followed technical guidance. This consulting package tracked implementation of trachoma control activities across 14 provinces while providing technical support to localities.

CEHS's Role

CEHS directly conducted monitoring and technical support in the project provinces. Under the contract, CEHS tracked field implementation of the project's technical activities, including screening, medication distribution and treatment, and provided technical support for the project's communication activities to help raise community awareness and improve trachoma control effectiveness.
