Communicable Disease Prevention
CEHS participates in the research, evaluation, and implementation of infectious disease prevention and control programs to strengthen the capacity for surveillance, early detection, and effective response to public health issues. The Center collaborates with regulatory agencies, healthcare facilities, and domestic and international organizations to support the development of epidemiological surveillance systems, strengthen disease control capacity, and enhance preparedness for health emergencies.
Areas of expertise include HIV/AIDS; tuberculosis; dengue fever; influenza and respiratory infectious diseases; COVID-19; immunization; epidemiological surveillance; infection control; and public health emergency response.
