Non-Communicable Disease Prevention
CEHS implements research, intervention programs, and technical assistance activities aimed at reducing the burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and public health risk factors in Vietnam. The Center collaborates with regulatory agencies, healthcare facilities, and development partners to develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based intervention models, contributing to enhancing the effectiveness of prevention, early detection, and chronic disease management, as well as promoting healthy behavioral changes.
CEHS's areas of expertise include tobacco harm prevention and control; hypertension; diabetes; cardiovascular diseases; cancer; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD); nutrition and physical activity; mental health; behavior change communication; and the management of non-communicable diseases at the primary healthcare level.
