Introduction

The project was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of activities under the Expanded Environmental Sanitation Project across three provinces — Phú Thọ, Hà Tĩnh and Bắc Kạn. The evaluation focused on reviewing implementation results, the extent to which objectives were met, strengths, challenges and lessons learned to improve project implementation quality in the next phase.

The evaluation findings provided practical evidence for UNICEF, management agencies and implementing units to adjust implementation approaches, prioritize resources and strengthen the sustainability of local environmental sanitation activities.

CEHS's Role

CEHS carried out the evaluation with the participation of Dr. Nguyễn Đức Hồng and Dr. Lê Thị Ngọc Hà. The consulting team was responsible for developing the evaluation protocol, designing the assessment toolkit, organizing field surveys, processing and analyzing data, finalizing the results report, and organizing a workshop to share findings and recommendations.
