Workshop on orientation and development of a plan to coordinate with a general hospital to screen high-risk groups for TB in Dak Nong in the 2021-2023 period

On May 6, 2021, the Center for Environmental and Health Research collaborated with the Center for Disease Control of Dak Nong Province organizing the second workshop on orientation and developing a plan to coordinate with the general hospital to screen high-risk groups for TB.

Attending the workshop were 39 local delegates, including: representatives of the Department of Health, CDC leaders, leaders of infectious diseases, CDC TB team officials and leaders, staff in charge of TB programs, testing staff of the provincial general hospital, district health center polyclinics, hospitals and private clinics in the whole province of Dak Nong.
The workshop set out orientations for the period 2021 - 2023 focusing on the role of the anti-tuberculosis system at provincial general hospitals, general clinics and private hospitals and clinics, working together for TB prevention. CEHS and the provincial CDC support the above units in funding for patient transfer, in addition to training and guiding the medical team on expertise as well as using ACIS software to manage patients to strengthen the capacity of screening and early detection of TB patients and not to miss any high-risk cases when coming here.
The workshop closed with the consensus and commitment to implement the subproject by the leaders of the Department of Health, the Center for Disease Control and the public-private medical units outside the TB prevention system in Dak Nong province.
