Faced with the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic in the whole country, it is still necessary to improve the capacity of TB screening and diagnosis for medical staff at provincial general hospitals, public hospitals/clinics, private sector participates in public-private health cooperation (PPM) in the implementation of activities of the Global Fund sub-project, the Center for Environmental and Health Studies in collaboration with the National Tuberculosis Program organizes an online training course via Zoom software.

The program is organized with the aim of helping students update their knowledge about screening, diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis, extrapulmonary tuberculosis and diagnosis and treatment of non-tuberculosis pulmonary diseases such as asthma, COPD. , pneumonia.... From there, it helps the provinces to realize the objectives of the CEHS sub-project at local such as screening and detecting suspected TB patients and TB patients brought into management from units outside the anti-TB system.

More than 80 bridgeheads in 5 provinces have implemented the Global Fund sub-project with more than 200 trainees participating in the training who are doctors from provincial general hospitals, specialized hospitals,public and private hospitals/clinics under Lam Dong, Dak Nong, Kon Tum, Gia Lai and Bac Giang provinces.
After completing the training course, trainees can: update their knowledge about tuberculosis, non-tuberculosis lung diseases such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia....develop a plan to screen and detect TB patients who come to the unit for examination, use ACIS 360 software to transfer patients to the province's TB unit.
