Implement the plan approved by the Global Fund for Tuberculosis Control Sub-project for the period 2021-2023 – Center for Health and Environment Research, from October 25 to November 7, 2021, the Center for Disease Control in Dak Nong province in collaboration with the District Health Center of Gia Nghia City and Dak Mil district to organize screening for active TB detection for people at high risk in the community.

Screening images to detect tuberculosis patients in Dak Nong province
Participating in the active TB screening examination included doctors, nurses and technicians of the Provincial Center for Disease Control, the District Health Center of each district and the commune health centers. Subjects for TB screening include people who are in direct contact with the source of the infection, those whose cough lasts for more than 2 weeks, those who have underlying medical conditions such as diabetes, kidney failure, or organ transplants.

The delegation organized 13 locations for examination and X-ray in Gia Nghia City and Dak Mil district, interviewed 1,871 people, took X-rays for 1,726 high-risk people, and did GeneXpert test to diagnose tuberculosis for 208 people.
