Project description: Implementing the prevention programs of trachoma in Viet Nam (SAFE Viet Nam)
Summary of specific work performed by the contractor under the contract:
- Monitoring the quality of trachoma rapid assessment in 27 districts of 9 northern provinces.
- Monitoring the quality of epidemiological trachoma survey in 27 districts of 9 northern provinces (screaning and classification of active trachoma, ibis) and investigate the analysis related to the environment hygiene factors as a basis of selection of participating in programs “SAFE Viet Nam” 2002-2004 and offer effective intervention measures.
