Detailed Description of the Project: The aims of the surveillance activities and epidemiological evaluation are to: Guide the collection and analysis to increase the consistency of the health data and to enable the relevant competent authorities to keep track of trends at all times; Monitor the implementation of public health measures to ensure the compliance with the PHAP.
The sites for M&E will be 8 communes and 1 town located in the reservoir area under the impacts of the project in three districts of the two provinces of Thanh Hoa and Son La.
The M&E sites of each visit consist of hospitals, health district centers of Quan Hoa, Muong Lat and Van Ho; 9 CHCs and local residents living in the 9 monitored communes.
Summary of specific work performed by the contractor under the contract:
- Supervise financial and technical supports for local health facilities by the project
- Monitor indicators of the accessibility to quality health services
- Monitor the adherence to disease transmission control program
- Monitor indicators of the compliance with the diagnosis and treatment protocols
- Monitor disease-related indicators, including the indicators related to blood-transmitted diseases and sexually transmitted diseases
