Providing Technical Assistance for Vietnam Health Management Administration (VIHEMA)– MOH in guidance,  direction of 21 provinces on behavior change communication planning, guiding on checking, reporting and monitoring - the Results-based Scaling-up Rural Sanitation and Water Supply Program

Detailed Description of the Project:  The Results-based Scaling-up Rural Sanitation and Water Supply Program is to improve hygiene practices, to increase sustainable access to rural water and sanitation in the Northern Uplands, the Central Highlands and the South Central Coast. The objectives of the Program are as follows: Number of communes reaching commune-wide sanitation: 680 communes; Number of hygienic latrines in 21 provinces are newly built or renovated: 400,000 (of which 100,000 hygienic latrines are newly built from the program’s support and 300,000 latrines are newly built/renovated through communication activities); Number of public sanitation works newly built or renovated: 2,650 (1,650 works and 1,000 commune health stations).
Summary of specific work performed by the contractor under the contract:
  • Providing technical assistance for VIHEMA-MOH to develop and implement support activities for 21 program provinces ;
  • Providing technical assistance for VIHEMA-MOH in implementing the program's tasks and activities.
