In the activities of latent TB screening and active detection of TB patients in the community of the Global TB Fund Subproject - CEHS, the participation of the commune TB specialist is very important, so that The Center for Environmental and Health Studies in collaboration with the Center for Disease Control of Hoa Binh Province organized a training course for commune-level TB staff in Hoa Binh.

The trainees were able to acquire basic knowledge about latent TB, ways of TB transmission, diagnosis of latent TB, treatment of latent TB, duties of commune level in latent TB management, and knowledge on TB detection methods, field implementation plan, practice entering screening data using ACIS software on tablets and smartphones.
The main lecturers involved in teaching include: Dr. Kieu Dinh Vi – director of the Center for Disease Control of Hoa Binh province; MSc. Trinh Hanh Phuc, CEHS information technology expert, who supported the training course, also had MSc. Vu Van Quan, CEHS project officer, Dr. Bui Thi Thu Trang, an officer of the labor force of Hoa Binh province's labor center.

After completing the training course, trainees can update new knowledge about tuberculosis, make plans, list high-risk subjects for suspected TB and manipulate data on ACIS software proficiently.
